VDA 2 - Production Process and Product Approval (PPA)

In this course you will learn about and apply the VDA 2 standard.
VDA Volume 2 "Quality Assurance for Supplies" describes the basic requirements for the sampling of the series template for automotive series parts. This ensures that the customer's expectations are understood and implemented by the supplier so that the product can be manufactured with maximum customer satisfaction.

Knowledge of quality management systems and product development processes

Recommendation:

Knowledge of the requirements of IATF 16949
Specialist knowledge of the contents of other VDA volumes, in particular the VDA volume Maturity Level Assurance for New Parts

Participants are getting familiar with the approval process according to the VDA 2 approach and on how to use it properly.

Understanding the procedure for releasing products and the associated production processes within the scope of organizational responsibility.
Gain the ability to plan and coordinate the PPA process and integrate it into the product development process.
Know what triggers a PPA process and the evidence for internal and external approval.
Understand how to apply the PPA standard correctly.
Understand how to use the PPA process for software as a product and/or as part of the product.

After passing the knowledge test (multiple-choice test) you will receive a certificate of qualification.
