Top 10 Best in Class Techniques in Aerospace Auditing presented by ASQ author Chad
Kymal
Join ASQs Aerospace auditing author Chad Kymal for a short one-hour webinar where
he will share some of his Aerospace auditing tips that will benefit your organization.
Chad's latest book AS9101D Auditing for Process Performance: Combining Conformance
and Effectiveness to Meet Customer Satisfaction looks closely at the Aerospace Auditing
Approach including the Process Approach, Costumer Focus and Leadership.
AS9101D has been completely revised by the International Aerospace Quality Group
(IAQG). This is not a minor revision, but in fact a complete departure from the
old standard. Aerospace auditing has been redefined into three main components Process
Approach, Customer Focus, and Leadership. The Process Approach consists of two separate
parts: to first analyze an organization to ensure that it is process-oriented and
then to audit the processes to ensure that they are effective. Customer Focus prioritizes
the audit, identifies whether there is a customer feedback process, whether the
organization is satisfying their customer needs, and whether there are action plans
for improvement. Leadership auditing includes evaluating the knowledge and commitment
of the organizational leadership.
Aerospace auditing and effective ways to plan and conduct Aerospace auditing using
Enterprise software and Top 10 Best In Class techniques in the EwIMS Software from
Omnex will also be covered in this presentation.
