Webinar Title : How To Avoid Failing Your IATF Audit

Organizations are receiving an average of 5.3 non-conformances in their upgrade audits. This is the latest information based on 3,172 audits conducted as of August 2017. See chart –

Major non-conformances are occurring due to misinterpretations of IATF 16949. For example – did you know that you need to include all your “Automotive Customers” in the CSR list. Second, internal auditor competencies are now one of the top most major non-conformance. System, process and product auditors need to be trained. Furthermore, customer CSRs have large impacts on auditor competency requirements. New interpretations can impact these competency needs.

Omnex is offering this IATF 16949 Update webinar as a preventive tool for success in their IATF 16949 Upgrade audit.

Based on the latest IATF information, in this webinar we will:

  • Provide an update on the most frequently cited non-conformances based on the first 3,172 audits. In the last webinar we covered information up to April 2017 (based on 188 Audits). Join us to understand the precautions to take for the top 10 Majors as of August, 2017.
  • Provide an update on IATF sanctioned interpretations; For example, did you know one of the top 10 major non-conformances is for CSRs? Why? Most organizations do not know that they must have CSRs for all of their “Automotive Business” and not only the subscribing customers.
  • Identify Internal Auditor Competency issues resulting in NCs. Organizations who have taken lead or internal auditor courses from Omnex could be vulnerable to Major NCs. Find out how to avoid getting minors or majors. Internal Auditor Competency is shown on the top 10 Major and Minor NC lists.
  • Provide an Omnex IATF 16949 audit checklist that includes:
    • IATF interpretations
    • Omnex audit guidance
    • Top audit failures from 3rd party audits in an integrated audit checklist

If you have not seen the "Rough Transition to IATF 16949" webinar, we have updated it recently with the new August 2017 3rd party audit results data.
