Webinar Title : Implementing Best In Class Management Systems with AS9100D

Many management systems standards have changed dramatically in the last two years, starting with the release of ISO 9001:2015 / ISO 14001:2015, and AS9100 is no exception. Starting with the High Level Structure, these changes represent the most significant new requirements since 2000. For aerospace organizations, simply creating documents and obtaining certification are no longer enough. The leading companies in the industry now require that suppliers' management systems enable them to improve their performance to meet demanding quality and delivery criteria: less than 60 PPM defect rates, coupled with 100% on time delivery. To remain competitive, organizations must keep improving. Supplier management systems must be adaptable to dramatic changes in aerospace technology, as well as increased global competition around new models and aggressive new entrants into the multi trillion dollar industry.

- The Aerospace Industry is moving from the current 20,000 - 50,000 PPM and 60% on time, to less than 200 PPM levels and above 98% on-time delivery. With the release of AS9145, the industry is moving to incorporate Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) along with Lean and Six Sigma systems and methods.

- Evolving technologies, including the "connected plane", require a focus on software management systems (AS9115).

Thus, aerospace companies need to use the QMS to develop and implement processes that help them improve their organizations' quality, cost and delivery performance. In this webinar Omnex will discuss Best In Class systems for these organizations and their business processes, including integrated Context, Interested Party Expectations, and Planning using a Business Operating System (BOS) approach to enable performance management. We will also discuss New Product Development and Risk Based Thinking using APQP, PPAP and FMEAs. Additionally, this webinar will address need for standardization in Operational Controls derived from FMEAs, as well as the need to incorporate Lean and Six Sigma solutions if your organization is to achieve and sustain world class Aerospace Industry status.
