The entire automotive supply chain is obligated to ensure the safety and conformity of its products. Process Owners shall be aware and understand their role as it related and integrates with product safety requirements and the conformity of products and services provided.
The aim of this two-day seminar is to explore the requirements in the Product Integrity handbook and to qualify persons assigned be top management as the Product Safety Representative for the organization.
Who Should Attend
This seminar is designed for management and process owners who are to be deployed as or already designated as Product Safety Representatives for the organization. FMEA facilitators, process auditors, or product designer/developer may also benefit from this class.
Recommended Training and/or Experience
In order to attend this training, technical and/or product knowledge and process experience is necessary as well as reasonable experience with prevention methods, and automotive quality management processes, such as in reclamation and failure and or root cause analysis.
Participants should be qualified and experienced in the evaluation of technical product and process risks for and be knowledgeable about the use of the organization’s products, the state of the art as well as the requirements from relevant laws and customer requirements.

- Enable the prospective or existing Product Safety Representative to handle their everyday work more professionally
- Define the responsibilities for managing product safety and conformity throughout the entire supply chain; from development through manufacture and delivery, and up to the end of the period of intended use
