Functional Safety Core Tools: Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment

Home > Training > ISO 26262 Training > Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment

Seminar Content

This one-day workshop is designed to help your company conduct Hazard Analysis on new design concepts. Not only will you learn the how to develop a hazard analysis but how to develop a safety plan for your system and component events to meet ISO 26262 requirements.

Hazard analysis is conducted by engineering teams to identify critical hazards within the design concept which can cause a faults and a failure to meet safety goals. Hazard analysis is used in critical and safety related products.

Hazard analysis is part of ISO 26262, which is the Functional Safety standard that is applied to Safety Related Systems that include electric/electronic systems installed in production passenger vehicles.

Who Should Attend

System, Software and hardware engineers, managers responsible for the development and implementation of systems, software and hardware in a motor vehicle.

Recommended Training and/or Experience

Participants should be involved in or aware of software and hardware development as it relates to the motor vehicle industry.
