Seminar Content
Many organizations have implemented ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management
systems to manage the risks for quality, environmental and health and safety. ISO
9001 also includes requirements to identify the sequence and interactions of business
processes and includes processes from sales and design to manufacturing that are
key areas for integration.
Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability standards include requirements for social,
environmental and health and safety. There is overlap between the requirements of
Corporate Responsibility and ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management standards. Instead
of creating independent standalone systems for Quality, Environmental, Health and
Safety and Corporate Responsibility, organizations should integrate each of the
standards into one management system.
This class will provide an overview of corporate responsibility standards and then
teach how to identify the critical attributes of CR by conducting a risk analysis
and a gap analysis. The steps for Governance and process control of the requirements
for CR will come from the integration of QMS, EMS and OHSAS standards with CR requirements.
Who Should Attend
Management Systems professionals and including Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability
professionals interested in leveraging management systems to implement CR.
