Joint Press Release between AIAG and Omnex - Omnex and AIAG Announce Global Partnership
Shanghai, Aug. 11, 2006 - The Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) and Omnex
Inc. announced the formation of a global training and consulting partnership between
the two companies to offer Lean/Six Sigma training in Asia. As part of the agreement,
Omnex will deliver AIAG-accredited training programs in China, India, Thailand and
the Asian market. In tandem with this agreement, AIAG and Omnex headquarters in
the USA agreed to a similar partnership in the US.

Founded in 1982, AIAG is headquartered in the metro Detroit area. Its member companies
include North American, European and Asia-Pacific OEMs and suppliers to the automotive
industry with combined annual sales of more than $850 billion.
Omnex began its Asian Operations in 1995 with Thailand as their Asia Pacific Headquarters.
Now with six fully functional offices in the Asian region, and having served more
than 6,000 Asian clients, Omnex already has earned a solid reputation throughout
Asia as a provider of automotive consulting solutions and Lean/Six Sigma. Currently,
Omnex has more than 125 employees in Asia with plans to increase to about175 people
by year's end.

Now, in both North America and in Asia, automotive companies can look forward to
world-class quality, training, and certification to Lean / Six Sigma that is accepted
by a global body like AIAG. More information on Lean/Six Sigma training offerings
will be shared with AIAG members in the coming months.
