Dave Barber (Omnex Canada)

Mr. Barber is the General Manager and Senior Quality Consultant / Trainer for Omnex
Canada Inc. He has been a full time consultant since 1998, and estimates a total
of 4,500 hours of in-class instructional training and 2,500 hours of client consultation
since that time.
Mr. Barber has over 18 years experience in the Quality profession with the majority
of this time being spent in Quality Director / Manager and Quality Engineering roles.
He has a diverse background with experience in the automotive, medical devices,
consumer electronic, telecommunications, plastics, machining, and stamping industries.
Mr. Barber has assisted companies in the development and implementation of cohesive
quality systems that have resulted in the achievement of ISO 9001:1994, QS-9000,
TS 16949:1999, ISO 9001:2008, TS 16949:2002, TL 9000, ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and Six
Sigma projects.
Mr. Barber is a ten-year member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and is
a Certified Quality Engineer. He received his Quality Assurance Certificate (accredited
by the ASQ) from Centennial College of Applied Arts and Technology, has a diploma
in Electronics from Radio College of Canada.

Gregory J. Paupst
Mr. Paupst is a Quality Consultant / Trainer with Omnex Canada Inc. He assists organization
to development systems to eliminate waste and reduce costs. He has spent over 10,000
hours consulting and training individuals in a wide range of disciplines as indicated
below. Mr. Paupst has 25 years professional executive experience in such positions
as Vice President (Operations, Engineering, Sales), Director and General Manager
within in the automotive industry chain. Mr. Paupst received a Bachelor of Arts
in Psychology from Wilfred Laurier University. He has extensive training in the
areas of Management, Finance, Strategic Thinking, Decision Making, Problem Solving
and Analysis, and Quality Systems. Professional Affiliations include Business Course
Advisor Conestoga College, Guest University Lecturer: "Doing Business in Japan",
Chairman General Motors Canada Annual Quality Seminar, Member General Motors Supplier
Council Planning Committee, Member Automotive Parts Manufacturers Association, and
Former Member Canadian Manufacturers Association.

Pat Ambrose
Mr. Ambrose has over 25 years experience in the design, development, implementation
and improvement of quality systems. He has worked as a Quality Engineer, Quality
Engineering Manager and General Plant Manager in Automotive, Office Equipment, Metal
Fabricating and Firearms industries. As a consultant auditor for the past nine years,
Mr. Ambrose has worked with a variety of automotive suppliers. He has also helped
several companies successfully achieve ISO 9000 registration. Mr. Ambrose has extensive
experience with plastic molding, casting, machining, stamping, rubber processing
and textile finishing. Mr. Ambrose is an Registered ISO 9000 Quality Systems
Lead Auditor, IATF ISO/TS 16949:2009 Certified Auditor and a AIAG certified QS-9000
Lead Auditor.
J. Dan Cook
Mr. Cook has proven experience in planning, organizing, management/leadership, and
ISO/QS9000. Mr. Cook has worked for 5 years as a Quality Assurance Manager and Supervisor
responsible for Quality related concerns as a design and Industrial Engineer for
8 years and as an ISO/QS-9000Consultant/Auditor since 1995. Mr. Cook has taken various
business administration courses from York University, obtained Lead Auditor status
from Quality practitioners in 1994 (ISO/TS 16949:2009 November 2002) and Environmental
Lead auditor in 1998 as well as obtained Industrial Technician and Mechanical Technologist
status from Georgian College. Mr. Cook is also a certified Quality Engineer since
1993.
Lee Halford B.Sc. A.Sc.T CEA
As an environmental and health and safety consultant, Lee has worked predominantly
within the automotive parts production sector, the PVC construction materials sector,
and various coatings sectors, performing ,environmental site assessment compliance
audits, ISO 14001 registration audits and third party internal audits; environmental
and health and safety inspections; Phase I, II and III environmental site assessments;
waste audits, and a full complement of other services, including employee training.
Lee is a graduate of the University of Toronto where she completed an honors degree
in Environmental Sciences/Resource Management. Lee is also a Certified Environmental
Auditor (Canadian Environmental Auditing Association) and an Applied Science Technologist
(Ontario Association of Certified Technicians and Technologists - Compliance and
Standards). Professional memberships include the Canadian Environmental Auditing
Association, the Ontario Association for Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists,
and the Ontario Society for Environmental Management.
