Automotive OEM Detailed Customer Specific Requirements Workshop

Seminar Content

This one-day workshop is designed to improve individuals' understanding of, and competency with automotive OEM (DCX, Ford, and GM) customer specific requirements per ISO/TS 16949:2002. It will provide methods for gathering, communicating, and applying customer specific requirements (and customer information) within your organization. The workshop will give a general overview (for new & established employees) as to where customer information related to the requirements can be found. This workshop supports ISO/TS 16949:2002 individual OEM (i.e. Ford and GM) Internal Auditor Customer Specific Requirements competency.

A specific course is available for each of DCX, Ford, and GM. Additional OEM (i.e. Delphi and Visteon) requirements can be included as needed.

Who Should Attend

APQP team members, OEM Project Managers, Top Management, Quality Managers, Quality Supervisors, Quality Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, ISO/TS 16949:2002 Process Owners, Production Supervisors, Production Leaders, anyone new to the automotive manufacturing.

Recommended Training and/or Experience

Basic understanding of process documentation and core tools (process flow diagram, PFMEA, control plan), and the ISO/TS 16949:2002 quality management system specification.

FMEA-related courses such as Manufacturing Process Development using PFMEA, APQP & DFMEA including Robust Design Linkages, FMEA/Control Plan including Robust Design Linkages and Advanced Product Quality Planning also incorporate the FMEA 4th Edition.
AIAG has released the 4th Edition FMEA Reference Manual.
