Online Webinar: Use it or lose it! We're spending all this money on training; why aren't we getting results?
Webinar Information
Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at 1-2 pm EDT
Presenter: Bo Dimitroff
Cost: Free
Location: Online
Like anything else in business we spend money to make money. Training should be one of our most lucrative investments, but often it just doesn't seem to meet expectations. In this session we will explore the failure modes of training and proven methods to ensure that training contributes directly to the bottom line.
Successful training is a process. A process where each step is dependent on the previous step and any shortcuts will directly impact the results. The process steps are:
- Understand the need, connecting the training to the individual and corporate goals
- Commitment, agreement on time and resources to drive results
- Preparation, establishing measures of success
- Training, that is appropriate, memorable and results oriented
- Environment, immediate and continuous reinforcement of the training on the job
- Application, providing agree-upon time and resources
- Evaluation and feedback, assessing how it worked and what we learned
This webinar will help you get more out of every training dollar.
