Integrating Lean/Six Sigma into Management Systems

Wednesday, February 15, 2005 at 1 pm EST
Length: 1 hour
Presenter: Glenn Kubisiak
Cost: Free

About the Webinar

Lean/Six Sigma has historically been a considered a tool for reducing waste and bringing quality and consistency to isolated projects. However, when the concepts are applied in a strategic way across the enterprise, Lean/Six Sigma can greatly improve your entire business and improve both top-line revenue and bottom-line results. By applying a business-oriented approach to your initiative, "Strategic Lean/Six Sigma" can become an essential foundation to assure that your business units consistently achieve their key strategic goals within their day-to-day operations.

This webinar will discuss how Lean/Six Sigma can help your teams deliver a far greater return on investment and achieve deeper executive support much sooner in each initiative. This webinar will discuss:

  • Benefits of integrating Lean and Six Sigma
  • Focused project selection to key business objectives
  • Closer integration of Lean objectives across multiple business initiatives
  • More effective involvement of key executives and business unit leaders
  • Improvement of customer services and loyalty
  • Implementation of DIKAR (Data-Information-Knowledge- Actions-Results)

If you have implemented Lean, the next move is to launch Lean/Six Sigma. If you have implemented Six Sigma, you will find Lean tools beneficial to help in projects that address lead time and waste. Two great tools can be integrated using the DMAIC process.
