Seminar Content

This training features Omnex’s unique, value-added approach to auditing. It is an intensive two-day auditor transition training course that will teach ISO/TS 16949:2002 audit trails, scope selection and audit planning. Certified ISO/TS 16949:1994 auditors, Internal Auditors, Lead Auditors, or others interested in understanding the ISO/TS 16949:2002 auditing process.

Recommended Training and/or Experience

Must have a background in ISO 9001:1994 Standards, ISO/TS 16949,or QS-9000 and/or completion of ISO 9000, QS-9000 or TS 16949:1994 Lead or Internal Auditor Training courses.

About ISO/TS 16949:2002 - The International Quality System Standard for Automotive Suppliers
ISO/TS 16949:2002 specified the quality system requirements for the design / development, production, and (where relevant) installation and servicing of automotive related products. The ISO/TS 16949:2002 1st Edition released in 1999, was based on ISO 9001:1994. To emphasize continuous improvement in the supplier base, the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) later revised the ISO/TS 16949:1999 requirements to align with the ISO 9001:2000 framework. more...
