Understanding and Documenting ISO/TS 16949:2009 Quality Management Systems(RABQSA-Certified)

Seminar Content

This 1.5 day course is certified by RABQSA under the TPECS scheme, and meets the knowledge criteria requirements for Quality Management Systems that can be applied to all auditor grades. This seminar fully covers the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/TS 16949:2009 requirements. Other topics include the documentation process, and implementing or upgrading a management system to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 or ISO/TS 16949:2009 and the operational objectives of the company.

Attendees who successfully demonstrate competence during this course will achieve a Certificate of Attainment for the following competency units:

  • RABQSA-QM

Who Should Attend

This seminar is designed for Quality Assurance Managers, ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/TS 16949:2009 Implementation Team Members, and Management Representatives.

Recommended Training and/or Experience

A general understanding of ISO 9001:2008 or ISO/TS 16949:2009 is recommended.

About ISO/TS 16949:2009

ISO/TS 16949:2009 specified the quality system requirements for the design / development, production, and (where relevant) installation and servicing of automotive related products. The ISO/TS 16949:2009 1st Edition released in 1999, was based on ISO 9001:1994. To emphasize continuous improvement in the supplier base, the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) later revised the ISO/TS 16949:1999 requirements to align with the ISO 9001:2008 framework.
