This one-day seminar provides a comprehensive approach to understanding the requirements of the ISO/TS 16949:2002 specification. Best-In-Class Quality Management Systems will be discussed. The presentation and hands on exercises focus on the process approach to ISO/TS 16949:2002, as well as the specific differences from QS-9000/TS-16949 1st Edition.

ISO/TS 16949:2002 Implementation Teams, General Managers, Senior Functional Managers, Management Representatives, leaders with an international customer base and an understanding of ISO 9000, QS-9000 or TS 16949.

Recommended Training and/or Experience

About ISO/TS 16949:2002 - The International Quality System Standard for Automotive Suppliers
ISO/TS 16949:2002 specified the quality system requirements for the design / development, production, and (where relevant) installation and servicing of automotive related products. The ISO/TS 16949:2002 1st Edition released in 1999, was based on ISO 9001:1994. To emphasize continuous improvement in the supplier base, the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) later revised the ISO/TS 16949:1999 requirements to align with the ISO 9001:2000 framework. more...
