ISO/TS 16949:2002 Role of Top Management

Seminar Content

This new standard and TRWA's approach to it will require management leadership to implement. Some locations will need extra help get buy-in an support from management. This class teaches managements role in leading the way. 4-hour seminar.

Who Should Attend

Upper Management: TRWA Staff, Regional/ Product Group Staff, Location (Plant/Support Office) Staff Process Owners & Team Members: (If these are not yet identified, select:) Current Line Management, Other Selected Process "Levers" Business System Implementers: Those with responsibility to implement and maintain the BMS: Management Reps, QS Coordinators, Quality Managers

Recommended Training and/or Experience

Must be well-versed in TRW Quality Systems, the content of the Business Policy Manual and the website http://www.livmi.trw.com/e-qms/ .

Each participant will receive a seminar manual.

  • Understand the purpose and goals of ISO/TS 16949:2002 and how it will help top management achieve their business goals
  • Understand the implementation structure of ISO/TS 16949:2002
  • Learn the sections that impact upper management the most
  • Learn what kind of support upper management must provide to the ISO/TS 16949:2002 implementation team.
  • Understand the registration process
  • Be able to estimate the resources and cost associated with ISO/TS 16949:2002 compliance
