Omnex Executive Seminar: Advanced Auditor Training for ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/TS 16949:2002

This advanced three-day seminar is taught by Omnex CTO and Founder Chad Kymal from his book, Conducting Effective Process-Based Audits: An Auditor Handbook for ISO/TS 16949:2002. The class provides training in advanced auditing skills, using many real life scenarios for in depth examination of various issues including Scope and Application, Document Review, Readiness Review, Top Management Objectives, Management Review, Audit Planning in complex organizations, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and PPAP. Particular emphasis is placed on auditing effectiveness in practice, quantifiable performance improvement and achieved customer satisfaction.

This class can be custom-designed using client case studies and specific client systems issues. The course emphasizes auditing four key areas as required by the customer including: Business Planning and Management Review, New Product Development, Process Monitoring and Improvement, and auditing the manufacturing plant floor. The course includes one hour of one-on-one feedback for auditor improvement.

Who Should Attend

Experienced internal, supplier and third party auditors interested in advancing their knowledge in conducting audits. Auditors may be auditing ISO 9001:2000, ISO/TS 16949:2002, and/or other ISO 9000-based Standards.

Prerequisite Skills

Must have completed an Internal Auditor and/or a Lead Auditor Course. Auditing experience and knowledge of ISO 9001:2000 or ISO/TS 16949:2002. Automotive auditors need to know Customer Specific requirements and the Core Tools.

Conducting Effective Process-Based Audits: An Auditor Handbook for ISO/TS 16949:2002 and ISO 9001:2000 will be provided to all attendees.
