Outsourcing, Supplier Development and APQP/PPAP Services Performed

Projects undertaken by Omnex around the globe:

1. Conducted APQP, SPC, MSA, and PPAPs for 220 suppliers for a new car launch for an India OEM in 2000. This car launched with a high quality index and was hyped in the USA's Automotive News.
2. Developed international engine company's JVs, STAs, and suppliers in India and China from 1998 to present. Implemented quality systems, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, Internal audits, QOS, and other tools.
3. Upgraded Automotive Supply Chain in tandem with AIAG (US-based Automotive Industry Consortium) in N. America, Europe, S. America, and Asia using Lean and Six Sigma Agreement signed in 2006.
   1. Developed a training course for second party auditing on How to Audit APQP and PPAP for AIAG in 2000, working with the Truck OEMs and Tier One Suppliers.
4. Mobile service provider in India outsourced internal audits for 23 circle offices covering 45 core processes. (60 man-days of audits per month).
5. Developed the QOS process and the QOS Assessment in conjunction with Ford Team for Ford Motor Company in 1993. Trained and implemented QOS for thousands of suppliers in the USA, Europe, South America and Asia.
6. To develop 95 Renault Nissan suppliers in Asia according to their stringent standards (ANPQP, Quality Circles, 5-S, and shop floor practices) over a 3 year period. Contract signed in 2006.
7. Developed methodology and training on APQP/PPAP for a US based Truck OEM and for their suppliers. Trained hundreds of suppliers using this methodology. Subsequently, Omnex supported the company in the USA with supplier training and custom training for their supply base.
8. Worked with SAC-an electronic and semiconductor consortium consisting of Visteon, Delphi, DCX, Siemens, Bosch, Motorola, AMD, Philips Semiconductors and 100s of other members. Omnex provided SAC training and developed electronic and semiconductor suppliers in USA, Europe, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries. Omnex helped develop the Semiconductor Supplement for ISO/TS 16949:2002 in conjunction with the AEC council. Training, implementation, second party audits were conducted for Quality Systems, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC and others starting in 1998. Omnex has developed thousands of suppliers in this industry.
9. Performed hundreds of PPAPs and audits of PPAPs in the US and around of the world for many Tier Ones and others.
10. Conducted operational audits and improvement plans for troubled suppliers for 3PSD program in a Tier One in the US. Helped numerous suppliers since 2004. We have performed PSWs in behalf of the company when needed.
11. Conducted operational audits and improvement plans for troubled suppliers for a Tier Two starting in 2002. Helped numerous suppliers for the company.
12. Developed STA departments and developed Tier One's Suppliers to International Automotive Quality Systems, QOS, and APQP since 1998 in USA, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Thailand, Vietnam, and India. Omnex established offices in South America and Asia in support of the company's emerging markets strategy.
