Omnex is an approved provider of the IAQG-sanctioned Aerospace Auditor Transition Training (AATT). Successful completion of this program is necessary for existing aerospace auditors to update their AA, AEA and AIEI certification. Those seeking certification as an aerospace auditor for the first time will need to take a quality management system auditing course as well as the AATT. Omnex both internal and lead auditor courses that cover both ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100C.

The AATT program consists of three distinct required components:

1. Online Component - Initial Exams and "Foundations: Understanding" Training Modules. You should plan to spend an estimated 8-20 hours forAS9100 and an additional 6-15 hours if you're continuing on to AS9110 and AS9120. Depending on your score for the initial exams, the online training modules may be optional, but are still highly recommended in order to prepare you for the next phase of training.

2. Instructor-lead Training - This is a four-day training session conducted by experienced Omnex instructors that have been approved by IAQG to administer the AATT. This training is heavily focused on the process approach to auditing against the AS9100C standard. A final exam is offered on the fourth day. If you also seek certification in AS9110, a fifth day is offered for instructor-led training and the final exam. AS9120 does not have an instructor-led training component, but you will still need to schedule and complete a final exam. Please note: You must present your Certification of Completion of the Online Training Module or a certificate that reflect a passing score of 90% on both Initial Examinations in order to attend the instructor-led training.
3. After completion of the instructor-led training for AS9100, you will need to take a final exam. We ask that you bring your own laptop computer to the training session as the exam itself is administered online. An Omnex Proctor will be present during the on-line exam. Upon completion of the final exam, you will have an exit interview with an Omnex instructor in order to assess your auditing skills based on the coursework.
