Omnex Thailand, after experiencing good growth last year in the Management Systems and Lean/Six Sigma vertical, has re-strategized the client services group to serve our customers in S. E. Asia who are in need of Integrated Lean Six Sigma and Strategy Consulting. It should be noted that the Thailand office currently serves the markets in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Phillipines and Indonesia.
The Thailand office conducted several workshops for a number of clients including: PT Autocomp Systems Indonesia (Yazaki Group of companies), Saint Gobain Sekurit Thailand, Sanyo Semiconductors, Visteon Thailand, PBR Automotive Thailand, Delta Electronics, Kimball Electronics, Spansion (AMD), Phillips Securities, Panasonic Electronic devices, Electrolux, and Siam Hitachi Automotive
After having successfully implemented EwQMS (Omnex Systems' enterprise software) in Mercedes Benz Thailand, the Thai team successfully landed a second order from Mercedes Benz Vietnam. That implementation is currently under way.
AIAG and Omnex Inc. announced the formation of a global training and consulting partnership between the two companies to offer Lean Six Sigma training in Asia.
The Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) and Omnex Inc. announced the formation of a global training and consulting partnership between the two companies to offer Lean/Six Sigma training in Asia. As part of the agreement, Omnex will deliver AIAG-accredited training programs in China, India, Thailand and the Asian market. In tandem with this agreement, AIAG and Omnex headquarters in the USA agreed to a similar partnership in the US. (More...)
Spring 2006 News
Omnex Thailand has had quite the success this year, with a contract from Mektec Manufacturing Corporation for an ISO/TS 16949:2002 implementation and Chemico Chemicals for an implementation of ISO 9001:2000. Omnex Thailand also trained 1st Silicon-Malaysia in ISO/TS 16949:2002 and trained Johnson Electric- Hong Kong in APQP, PPAP 4th Edition in March.
Omnex Thailand also conducted training at Nike (Thailand) , Cobra International (world’s largest manufacturer of surf boards), Fabrinet (Thailand) & Nisshinbo Automotive (manufacturer of brakes systems), Agere Systems Microelectronics and several others.
Fall 2005
Omnex Thailand, our Asian headquarters, continues to support
major automotive and engineering clients in Thailand. During this
past quarter, the Thai office has several contracts with our clients
who have operations in Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore.
The ten new projects delivered this past quarter include ISO
9001:2000 and ISO/TS16949:2002 engagements with Siam Metal
Technology Co., Ltd. and Pichit Industrial Works Co., Ltd.
Omnex Thailand also celebrated the successful implementations of
ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/TS 16949:2002 with Coats Thread (Thailand) and
Toyoda Machine Works (Thailand).
We offered semiconductor-focused training at 1st Silicon
Malaysia, Philips Semiconductor Malaysia, and System on Silicon at
Singapore, to name a few. We received high scores in the course
tutoring and technical content. We have just concluded another set
of training, including ISO/TS16949 Lead Auditor training, at Jonhson
Electric, Hong Kong.

Omnex Thailand has just signed a contract with Isuzu Engine Manufacturing Thailand Co., Ltd. (IEMT) for the Implementation of ISO/TS 16949:2002. IEMT makes diesel engines for the one ton pick-up trucks for ISUZU worldwide. They also make diesel engines for Chevrolet Colorado trucks, Holden, and others. Omnex Thailand is providing Omnex Systems' EwQMS software to the Nakornthai Strip Mill. The company is a joint venture between Nakornthai Strip Mill and Steel Dynamic.
