International Petroleum Research Company

Provided training, consulting, and implementation of Lean/Six Sigma projects to the company in line with their overall business improvement strategies at over 30 locations. We have completed over 35 projects with savings in excess of US$ 20 million in the first year alone.

Omnex has trained 45 Black Belts, 80 Green Belts, and completed over 40 projects to date. Key projects completed at the company include “Reduction in ethylene slippage“, “Improving bagging efficiency and overall plant efficiencies”, “Reduction in slippage of Butane into Lean Gas”, “Increasing of equipment availability in LPG Plant” & “Optimization of Station throughput” to name a few.

Provided extended QOS and APQP work for Oakville, ON location; Omnex helped the company implement customer focused key performance metrics and assisted in developing and using process metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. In addition, Omnex coached their top management in focusing on achieving their strategic goals and objectives.

As part of a long-term project, Omnex assisted them in developing and implementing a complete product development and launch process for the lubricants division.

Provided Business Management Systems Understanding and Implementing training to their location in Chennai, India.

Indian Petroleum Resources Company

Omnex Provided Business Management Systems training, counseling and implementation for this Indian company. The implementation included ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

During this implementation, Omnex stationed a person at the corporate office for 10 months to take care of the implementation and coordinate the implementation with their regional offices and off shore drilling. After implementation, the company had one quality manual and several of their key processes communized between the units.

Petroleum Presentation

As part of a global conference on Environmental Management in the Petroleum and Petrochemicals industry held in Bahrain, Omnex delivered a keynote address on integrated management systems and conducted a two day seminar on integrated OHAS 18001/14000/9000 Management Systems. Conference participants and speakers featured major players in Bahrain and surrounding area. Our partners are now working on implementing the same in this country.
