Organizational Announcement
Omnex/GMS, Mexico
We are pleased to announce the formation of Omnex/GMS, a new joint venture
between Omnex and Global Management Systems (GMS), and incorporating the former
Omnex de Mexico. Omnex/GMS will be headquartered in Guadalajara, Mexico. The
formation of this exciting new organization is expected to significantly expand
and enhance Omnex's ability to deliver consulting and training services
in Mexico and Central America. In addition to Guadalajara, Omnex/GMS initially
will have satellite offices in Mexico City and Querétaro, with plans
to expand rapidly into other principal market areas.
Omnex/GMS will operate under the direction of Ms. Tania Rico, who brings to
the position over 10 years experience in consulting and training involving
management systems, software and auditing in a wide variety of both manufacturing
and service industries. Prior to forming Global Management Systems, Tania was
a Regional Manager for KPMG's consulting practice in Mexico.
GMS, Omnex's partner in this venture, enjoys a well-established practice
in Mexico, with significant client relationships outside Omnex's traditional
base, and with a particularly strong presence in key service and governmental
sectors.
The formation of Omnex/GMS will allow Omnex to expand its services into a
variety of service industry sectors, such as education, hospitality and government
agencies, as well as adding a strong presence in key Mexican manufacturing
industries such as foods, chemicals, textiles and metalworking.
We are also pleased that Melesio Rosales and his associates in the former
Omnex de Mexico will continue with Omnex as valued associates of Omnex/GMS.
