Achieving Six Sigma Quality - Improve and Control Phase
This five-day workshop is the third in the series of three workshops focused on
Six Sigma Quality Improvement. This workshop develops knowledge and skill for improving
and controlling process variation. This workshop offers instruction and guided practice
for improving process quality levels (measured as Sigma Levels). Participants will
learn how to achieve Six Sigma Quality using The DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze,
Improve and Control) Method for quality improvement. This workshop covers the Improve
and Control Phase of DMAIC. Participants will learn how to utilize team oriented
problem solving, project planning tools and process control plans to implement and
sustain improvements that reduce process variation.
Who Should Attend
This workshop is intended for Champions and Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt Candidates
responsible for improving quality and productivity in manufacturing operations.
This training is team-based training. The team should include the Process Champion
and up to four Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt Candidates. There is a limit of 3 teams
This is the third Workshop in the Lean/Six Sigma Quality Improvement Series. Participants
are expected to have completed the first two workshops as well as the Lean/Six Sigma
Champions Training before enrolling in this workshop.
Each participant will receive a manual with all workshop materials.
This workshop will develop knowledge and skills for leading Lean/Six Sigma Quality
Improvement Teams. This workshop will provide your Lean/Six Sigma teams instruction
and guided practice in the Six Sigma tools to complete the Improve and Control Phases
of The DMAIC quality improvement process. This workshop will develop your ability
to plan and achieve quality improvement through reductions in process variation.
