Achieving Six Sigma Quality - Analyze Phase (5 days)
Workshop Content
This five-day workshop is the second in the series of three workshops focused on
Six Sigma Quality Improvement Methodology. This workshop develops knowledge and
skill for analyzing processes to identify the changes needed to achieve Six Sigma
Quality Levels. This workshop offers instruction and practice in analyzing the sources
of process variation (measured as Sigma Levels). Participants will learn how to
use the Six Sigma Quality improvement tools such as process control charts, test
of hypotheses and design of experiments to identify and verify the sources of process
variation.
Who Should Attend
This workshop is intended for Champions and Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt Candidates
responsible for improving quality and productivity in manufacturing operations.
This training is team-based training. The team should include the Process Champion
and up to four Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt Candidates. There is a limit of 3 teams
per session.
Prerequisites
This is the second Six Sigma Workshop in the three-part series on achieving Six
Sigma Quality. Participants are expected to have completed the first workshop "Six
Sigma Quality - Define and Measure Phase.
Workshop Materials
Each participant will receive a manual with all workshop materials.
Workshop Goals
This workshop will develop knowledge and skills for leading Lean/Six Sigma Quality
Improvement Teams. This workshop provides instruction and guided practice in the
technologies necessary to complete the Analyze phase of the DMAIC quality improvement
process. This workshop will develop participant abilities to identify and analyze
sources of process variation using tools and methods such as: process control charts,
multi-vari charts, test of hypotheses and design of experiments.
Workshop Outline
- Process Control Chart Analysis
- Multi-Vari Charts
- Confidence Intervals
