Spring 2007 News
Omnex USA has been working with Bacardi's global packaging division, developing their product development processes. It takes a special talent and the right knowledge of tools to develop a DFMEA for a bottle design.
Omnex USA and Omnex Europe been working together on a project with a medium sized Tier One in Slovakia and France. (See article in our Spring 2007 Navigator)
Omnex headquarters has also been working with our European operations to bring Six Sigma Black Belt training to a Medium Size Tier One. This project, overseen by Greg Gruska, has been very successful and points toward more activity in this area in the future.

Shanghai, Aug. 11, 2006 - The Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) and Omnex Inc. announced the formation of a global training and consulting partnership between the two companies to offer Lean/Six Sigma training in Asia. Omnex India wins supplier development contract from The Renault Nissan Institute, UK for all Mahindra - Renault Suppliers
July 27, 2006 - The Renault-Nissan Institute has signed a Partnership Agreement with Omnex India, enabling the Institute to extend their Global Business Improvement Consultancy footprint into India. Tsunami Relief
On Black Sunday, December 26, 2004, one of the worst earthquakes in the history of the planet took place in the Indian Ocean off of the coast of Indonesia, and was followed by a tsunami that destroyed coastal towns across the Indian Ocean. DaimlerChrysler Third Party Supplier Assessment Program
Omnex was selected to conduct the first operational assessment and improvement project under DaimlerChrysler's third party supplier development (3PSD) program. In addition to satisfying the OEM's concerns, the Tier-1 supplier reduced warranty costs from $1 million to $25,000 annually and eliminated the need for 3PVA, a $250,000 monthly savings. (More...)
