Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Seminar Content
Introduction to the principles and practices of statistical process control; a 2-Day Seminar.
Who Should Attend
Individuals who have direct responsibility for defining and developing an Organization’s measuring, monitoring and analytical practices using data collection, charts and statistical tools appropriate for its products, processes and business goals and objectives. Starting with what to measure and then how to measure, we will choose capable measurement systems and verify them with simple mathematical studies. We will look at how the equipment, methods, materials, manpower and environment can all contribute to measurement variation. Then we will look for suitable statistical tools to identify the same sources of variation in our manufacturing or services and to control that variation.
Prerequisite Skills
Fundamental knowledge of computational mathematics is necessary for understanding the topics discussed. Please bring a calculator
