Chinese-North American supplier partnerships conference

In an effort to advance Chinese-North American supplier partnerships, this premier conference has been structured to strengthen working relationships between Chinese and North American supply chains through greater cooperation, exchange and development.

Jointly sponsored by AIAG and China Association for Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), the 2007” Summit of the Forum on China-US Automotive Supply Chain” (US-China Supply Chain Summit) has been held in Aril 23-24, 2007 at the Shanghai International Conference Center in China.

Scheduled concurrent to the 12th International Automobile Show in Shanghai, the Summit provides an excellent platform for automotive executives to better understand supply chain and governmental requirements, as well as strategies for further development.

Benefiting executives from automotive OEMs, including GM, Ford, DCX and suppliers as well as quality managers and professionals, speakers discussed North American OEM and Tier One supplier expectations and requirements.

As strategic partner on Lean and Six Sigma training with AIAG, Omnex China has presented speech during the conference by General Manager (Michael XU) on the topic of Lean - 50/50/20. The key points of 50/50/20 methodology are to achieve 50% increase of productivity, 50% reduction of inventory and 20% operational costs.
