Managing Growth in the Asian Auto Industry – A Challenge for Automotive Suppliers
On October 26, 2012 Arun Kumar, Director & Vice President of Omnex Asia Pacific Operations spoke to a group of Automotive Industry VIPs invited from all over the world, including large OEM and Tier 1 companies. Mr. Kumar spoke to the audience as part of the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) supplier event in Beijing to discuss the current state and challenges of the Automotive Industry in Asia.
"The challenge for OEMs will be to manage and integrate diverse supplier competencies effectively so as to ensure seamless product launches. The efforts taken by different industry groups aid this process, but will also need the use of technology and cutting edge supply chain practices. Omnex has already pioneered the approach and helped several vehicle launches in Asia."

Omnex Chairs panel discussion in Singapore MAXA award.
This high profile panel discussion was conducted as a part of the Singapore Manufacturing Excellence Award function (MAXA) that emphasizes Productivity improvement for sustaining and improving the GDP of Singapore. Earlier this year, Singapore’s Economic Strategies Committee (ESC) established the vision for Singapore to be a distinctive global city, founded on an innovative economy and highly-skilled people. To achieve this vision, ESC recommended that Singapore should retain a global competitive manufacturing sector that contributes to 20-25% of Singapore’s GDP.

Spring 2007 News
Omnex USA has been working with Bacardi's global packaging division, developing
their product development processes. It takes a special talent and the right knowledge
of tools to develop a DFMEA for a bottle design. Omnex USA and Omnex Europe been
working together on a project with a medium sized Tier One in Slovakia and France.
(See article in our Spring
2007 Navigator). Omnex headquarters has also been working with our European
operations to bring Six Sigma Black Belt training to a Medium Size Tier One. This
project, overseen by Greg Gruska, has been very successful and points toward more
activity in this area in the future.

Lean/Six Sigma training in Asia.
Shanghai, Aug. 11, 2006 - The Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) and Omnex
Inc. announced the formation of a global training and consulting partnership between
the two companies to offer Lean/Six Sigma training in Asia. As part of the agreement,
Omnex will deliver AIAG-accredited training programs in China, India, Thailand and

Omnex India wins supplier development contract from The Renault Nissan Institute,
UK for all Mahindra - Renault Suppliers
July 27, 2006 - The Renault-Nissan Institute has signed a Partnership Agreement
with Omnex India, enabling the Institute to extend their Global Business Improvement
Consultancy footprint into India. The partnership agreement gives select suppliers
