Breakaway Lean® for Top Management (1-day Seminar)
This one-day program will help top management understand how they can use Lean to achieve significant improvements in quality, cost and delivery performance. This seminar presents an overview of the tools, strategies and improvement objectives of Lean. Participants will learn how Omnex utilizes Value Stream Mapping and Linked Scorecards to align Lean improvement projects with company strategic goals and objectives. Attendees will learn how to take Lean from concept to project based management implementing Lean manufacturing technologies.
Special emphasis will be given to identification of the financial and operational improvements you can expect from Lean. This seminar will also explain how Lean can be integrated with your company’s ISO/TS 16949:2002 quality management system.
The goals are to:
- Learn the methodology for identifying and evaluating improvement opportunities
- Help participants find hidden waste (costs) in processes
- Develop a basic level of understanding of the improvement philosophy, strategies and tools of Lean
- Develop understanding of the operational and financial improvements that can be expected
